Vance

So, today we met Vance's preschool teacher - Mrs. Francis. She is a very nice lady, and I think Vance will love preschool.
When I mentioned the goggles to her, she said that I should probably discourage him from wearing them to school. Is it silly to say that it broke my heart a little? The very things he loves and that give him so much character I'm supposed to discourage?? No, I don't think I will. And though he seems to be outgrowing them naturally and on his own, I will cherish each day left that he chooses to wear them. My little goggle boy...
