The much anticipated first day of preschool has come and gone without a single tear shed! We had really talked it up, and so when the day came, Vance was so excited. We got there a little early, and met a classmate named William waiting in the courtyard for chapel to start. Immediately he and Vance hit it off, and sat together for chapel, where we met another classmate named Paige. (Vance and Paige happen to share the exact same birthday!) After chapel, we went to Vance's class where his teacher, Mrs. Francis had set out Play-Doh for the kids to play with. Vance went right in, sat down, and asked his new friend, Paige to sit next to him. It was very cute. And when I told him I was leaving he could have cared less! I was so proud of how well he did, and am so glad that he looks forward to going again.
