Legoland!

Megan met someone...

We got a wee bit wet

So did they!

Forgot his goggles on the day he met Bob ~ doh!

So fun!

Vance and "Draggy"

"Fly Draggy, fly!"

Mom had taken the week off work, and Megan was off for the day, so we decided to go to Legoland! I think I was even more excited than Vance since I had never been before. (Mom and Dad had taken Vance last year.) We had a really good time. It was such nice weather and not too crowded. After each ride Vance would say, "I want to go on another ride! But not the roller coaster..." Megan and I took Vance on the pirate ride, where we both got soaked. We walked off looking like drowned rats and Mom almost died laughing! I knew then why she had insisted that Meg and I go, and leave her with Ainsley. Then the kids went over to play in the water area. Suffice it to say, I felt a little white trash when they ended up in diaper and underwear since I hadn't brought bathing suits.
Vance got a big thrill when we went to watch the 4D Bob the Builder show, and he actually got to meet Bob the Builder! (Figures it was the day he decided to be Lightening, hence no goggles.) We continued around the park eventually landing in "Castle Land". Vance, who has been on a bit of a dragon kick lately and who had $20 burning a hole in his pocket found the very perfect thing to buy: a $25 green, foam dragon, whom he and Aunt Megan settled on naming "Draggy". Then it was off for more rides and playing, with Draggy leading the way. We ended up leaving close to 7. I foolishly thought both kids would crash in the car the second we were on our way. Oh, how I underestimate the power of the "over-tired overdrive" in kids!
