Movie Night!

Vance chose the movie: Star Wars; and the menu (mostly): Popcorn and brownies (I included pizza and carrots with dip); and with my help, he invited the guests: Aunt Megan, Aunt Brooke and cousin, Jase. They sure had a great set up. If only we all could be so comfy and cozy! Jase didn't even make it to the opening credits. Ainsley lasted for all of 10 minutes before I carted her off to bed. Megan and I were the next to doze off, and Vance finally begged Aunt Brooke to put him to bed, since for some reason he finds it impossible to fall asleep in front of the TV. All said, it was a fun night.

Phoenix or Bust!

We hit the road on Sunday, tagging along with Kevin on

a business trip. Vance watched movies and Ainsley slept...

It figured that the normally dry state of Arizona had rain!

It stopped raining long enough for a round of miniture golf.

Good thing we brought our rain boots!

On the way to dinner we stopped by Sprinkles to pick up dessert...

Ainsley could scarcely wait to get her hands on one of those beauties!

And then they were done!

We met up with the newlyweds for dinner.

On the way home, a fun game of "slap the head" kept them occupied for a time...

All in all, a fun little trip!

On Super Bowl Sunday, we took the kids to the park in their new birthday digs

to get some pictures. They were pretty cooperative, and I got some cute shots.
